Interview with moi
I have to say I was shocked and surprised when I received the email asking for an interview with little ol' me! I felt so honored to have been interviewed by fellow artist and all around great person Terina Gillette. She writes a blog called "Learn how to face paint" and has included me in her Artist Spotlight. I have been quoted for different publications before but, this is my first interview and I have to say she did a wonderful job of putting it together.
If you would like to read it please head over to her blog and be so kind as to maybe share it with your friends and leave some comment love.

La Femme Eyebrow powder
As a pro Makeup artist I have a large range of clients from Brides to models so, I have to choose only the best products for my clients and that does not always mean expensive in fact, I have been a huge fan of a very inexpensive eyebrow powder for about 16 years now.
What is this fantastic powder I speak of? It's La Femme! Yes, old school for sure but, it works and it works well!
This is a highly pigmented product so, even if you have very sparse eyebrows you will be able to really fill them in with this and a good eyebrow brush.
You can find this oldie but, goodie for about $5 at most professional makeup stores like my favorite Frend's in North Hollywood or online.
Here is a photo of my own collection I de-potted into a Z-Palette. The colors I have are Blonde, Light Brown, Medium Brown, Taupe (my fave and most used) Charcoal and Auburn which missing from this photo because I cracked it so, now I need to replace it :(

Hello Kitty crochet beanie
Warning: this is not paint or makeup related...If you want to read a Makeup related post check this one out here - Mac Skin finish Natural
Seriously, If anyone wants to know where I get my creative genes from, I tell you they come from my mother. My mother is a crafter extraordinaire, she quilts, sews, paints and so much more. She made this adorable Hello Kitty hat for my little girl and I just couldn't help but share. I know my painty, makeupy friends could appreciate the goodness that is Hello Kitty and would love this little gem.
I wish I enjoyed sewing and crocheting because I would be allover this but, alas I do not so I will leave that business to my crafty McCrafterson Mother.

Sunflower/Daisy Face Painting Today's FOTD
Now that I am the official face painter for the California state University of Long Beach, I knew I had to paint my face with the Cal State Long Beach school colors but, I didn't want a LB logo on my face so I opted for what else but, flowers! Sunflowers and daisies to be exact.
The kids and everyone loved this design. I even painted a mask inspired by this design on a little girl. Of course I forgot to take my camera! Maybe next time.
Products used to create this look: I used Wolfe face paint for this entire look and Pure light glitter to add some sparkle and shine.
Happy Painting!!

Here I have created some rose buds and flower petals with my Double delight spiltcake made some time ago. I hope you are inspired by this design to go out a create a bit of spring this winter!
