I did it!!! I made it to Day 31 and the end of this challenge. I'm so excited to share this last one with you all. This last Glam Makeup design is a Venetian Mosaic Glitter mask. The entire mask is covered in 4 different Sugar Glitters including Pasos de Oro (Gold), Calabaza (Orange), Beso (Red) and a New chunky glitter called Diamantes de Fuego (Chunky Red, Orange and Gold combination).
Thank you for coming along on this journey with me and all through the year. As with every year I look forward to growth as an Makeup Artist, a Face painting Business owner , a Cosmetic glitter Company Owner, a Makeup Artist agent and a person. I do not make new years resolutions anymore because I believe people change when they are ready to and that has been very true for me. I make changes once I am ready and have set my mind on a goal.
This year I have begun a new chapter in my life. It was a big year for me. I made new wonderful friends and one I feel is probably my kindred spirit. I feel lucky to have added some incredible people to my life and lucky to have removed people who would bring me down. I turned 40 and as I looked at the different areas in my personal life I realized that my personal life was affecting my work life and change needed to happen but, only I could make those changes happen by starting with me. I began to take control of my health and focus on me. I'm not saying any of this wasn't painful because much of it was but, I have come out on the other side and can reflect back to see how far I've come and know that I never want to be back where I was. I only want to keep moving forward. Keep working smarter not harder and keep my priorities in check.
I hope you will stay with me in 2016 and tag me in your posts as I LOVE to watch artists grow. It inspires me to keep doing what I am doing and to keep sharing the love. I want to encourage you to step outside of your comfort zone because growth doesn't happen when we stand still. So, here's saying goodbye to a great 2015 and may God bless 2016 in all areas of your life.
Love and Glitter kisses,
Shawna Del Real

Glittery New Years Eve makeup tutorial
It's been a very long time since I have made a makeup tutorial for you so here is my last one of the year. I do hope you will enjoy it and make 2012 your year to sparkle and shine.....
1.We begin this look by adding a base to lock in your shadow for the rest of the night with "Cockerspaniel" from Bare Minerals. You can use a synthetic or natural haired brush for this. It really is your preferance.
2. I have taken an off white shadow with a small amount of shimmer and added it to the inner corner of my eyes and just below the brow bone. Then, I used a silver shadow all over my lid but, not where I added the white.I used a small flat shadow brush to smooth it all out.
3. Now, I have added a bit of "smut" eyeshadow from Mac and mixed it with a rosey mauve eyeshadow from Lancome and have begun to define the outer corners of my eyes with a 217 or blending eyeshadow brush.
4. With the same brush I added a small amount of "carbon" black eyeshadow from Mac in the crease of my eye to create more definition then lined my eyes with a flat liner brush and the same shadow. Next, I added a bit of Duo glue to my lids where I wanted the glitter to stick. With my finger I patted on the silver rainbow glitter.
5. With a small lining brush and "blacktrack" gel liner from Mac I lined my eyes and rimmed them to create a more dramatic, defined line. It is important to do this AFTER you add the glitter or the glitter will stick to your eyeliner and it will look gray.
Here are the eyes after curling my lashes and applying false lash strips with a coat of mascara....
6. Finally I finished off this look by adding a pretty pink blush "Escape and Lovely" from Bare Minerals, Highlighter in "Gossemer" from Bare Minerals to my cheek bones and down my nose and add a pinky nude lip with NYX lip liner in "Mauve", Lipstick from Revlon in "Pearl Pink" and lipgloss from Stila in "Kalidescope".
If you enjoyed this look please let me know by leaving a comment below. I may start making makeup tutorials as well as face painting tutorials in the New Year. Time to do something new.
Have a safe and sparkly New Years eve!
Glittery love and New Years wishes,
Shawna

New Years eve Make-up tips
Is it really necessary to go all out for New Years eve? Why YES it is! I'm only speaking to you single folk who don't spend your New Years eve with kids like we mom's do. I get to sit back and relax in my p.j.'s while sipping on hot chocolate (My last for a long time since, I will be starting a diet after New Years) and watch the wig drop on "Watch what happens live!" Yes, of course my kiddos will be in bed already because they never last til midnight anyways, so my husband and I can enjoy all the shenanigans all by ourselves.
Well, if you're single sans children here are a few tips to ensure there will be no one turning into a pumpkin at midnight.......
1. Use a primer before your foundation: Your make-up will look smoother and last longer.
2. Use a cream blush as a primer: add a touch of powder blush over your cream blush for a longer lasting flush.
3. When in doubt go waterproof: I don't endorse passing out drunk at the party but, should you go a little too far and have to spend the night somewhere your make-up will last through the night and you'll still look fab in the morning if you go waterproof.
4. Use a long wearing lipstick: There's nothing uglier than ring around the mouth so, use a long wearing lip stain or lipstick...your lips will last through that strike of midnight kiss and you'll thank me for it.
I hope these prevent any late night mishaps for you fabulous children-free people and for all of you staying at home with your kiddos enjoy your hot chocolate and think of me LOL!
Wishing you ALL a prosperous and Beauty-FILLED New Year!
Love and kisses,
Shawna D.
